After working together for over 10 years, Jodi and Catherine decided to pursue their dream of owning their own business and founded CJE Environmental Consulting in the fall of 2021.
Meet the team
Catherine Longorio (Johnson), REM
Catherine is a second-generation oil and gas professional and has worked in consulting and industry since 2008. Her past industry experience includes working at Apache Corporation and Altus Midstream, managing air permitting and compliance programs for Apache’s North American Unconventional Resources region upstream and Altus' West Texas midstream assets in the Delaware Basin. During her consulting career, she has participated in a multitude of environmental compliance activities for multiple clients in both the upstream and midstream sectors.
Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a Registered Environmental Manager.

Jodi Ellis
Jodi has worked in consulting since 2011, utilizing her engineering degree to complete air emission calculations, aid clients in selecting control equipment, performing process simulations for their operations, obtaining air permits, submitting regulatory notifications and reports, and to resolve issues of non-compliance. She has experience with Title V, New Source Review (NSR), and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) air permitting for oil and gas facilities in the production, midstream and transmission sectors.
Jodi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Brent Alsobrooks
Brent has worked in oil and gas since 2012 after working in San Antonio as an EMT. His past industry experience includes working as a H2S safety supervisor and EHS manager in both upstream and midstream sectors. In that time, he worked in the field performing safety duties on both production sites, drilling and workover rigs, and at processing plants. Most recently he has performed optical gas imaging LDAR surveys for clients throughout Texas and Oklahoma and has amassed over 2,000 regulated OGI surveys since 2015.
Brent earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Tech University and earned his Certified Safety Professional credentials in 2020.

Natalie Soto
Natalie has worked in consulting since 2017, utilizing her engineering degree to complete air emission calculations, aid clients in selecting control equipment, performing process simulations for their operations, and obtaining air permits. She has experience with New Source Review (NSR) air permitting for oil and gas facilities in the production sectors. Prior to her consulting career, she worked in the biorefining and pharmaceutical industries.
Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
